Spiced Pineapple Crumble
A classic crumble with a twist of exotic flavour.

Ingredients:
1 pineapple
1 tsp ground cinnamon
150 g plain flour
20 g caster sugar
140 g unsalted butter
ice cream (optional)
Recipe:
- Preheat the oven to 200C/180C fan/gas mark 6. Top, tail and peel the pineapple. Cut the peeled pineapple into quarters lengthways, then slice into chunks roughly 1cm thick.
- In a bowl, mix together the pineapple chunks and cinnamon. Add to a baking dish and set aside.
- Using the same bowl, mix together the flour, caster sugar and butter using your fingertips, until pea-sized lumps form. Scatter this crumble mixture over the pineapple, using your hands to even out the top. Bake until the crumble is golden (40-50 minutes).
- Leave to stand for 10 minutes, then enjoy – or dish up with some ice cream if you’d like.
How to store
Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
