Roasted Cauliflower Steaks
If you are looking for a simple but delicious way to cook with cauliflower then you need to try our roasted cauliflower steaks served with miso yoghurt sauce and chilli oil. A guaranteed crowd pleaser!
Substitutes:
- No coriander? Use parsley instead.
- Vegan? Use vegan butter or olive oil to cook the cauliflower, and vegan yoghurt for the sauce.

Ingredients:
1 Cauliflower
50 g Butter / Vegan butter
For the yoghurt sauce:
6 tbsp Natural Yoghurt / Vegan yoghurt
2 tbsp White miso paste
2 tsp Soy sauce
For the chilli oil:
1 Chilli (finely slice )
2 Garlic cloves (grated )
½ tsp Smoked paprika
125 ml Olive oil
1 tbsp Fresh coriander (chopped )
Recipe:
- Preheat the oven to 180C/160c fan/4 gas mark. Cut the cauliflower into 2 cm thick slices and place on a lined tray. Lightly season with salt and pepper, and top with cubes of butter. Roast for 40-45 minutes, until tender.
- Make the yoghurt sauce. To a bowl, add the yoghurt, soy sauce, and miso paste. Mix well until combined and set aside.
- Make the chilli oil. To a heatproof bowl add the chilli, garlic, and smoked paprika. Heat the olive oil in a small saucepan and pour over the ingredients in the bowl. Mix well and add the coriander. Set aside.
- For serving, start by spreading the yoghurt sauce on your dish. Top with the cauliflower and finally drizzle over the sauce. Enjoy!

Store in an airtight container, in the fridge, for up to 3 days.
