Orange Immunity Cubes (part 2)

These orange, carrot, lemon, turmeric and ginger cubes are packed with nutrition and perfect for a vitamin boost. Our simple wellness hack is to always pair turmeric alongside black pepper. The black pepper allows our body to absorb all of the nutrients from the turmeric, so we can get the full anti-inflammatory and immune benefits of it.

Ingredients:

2 Oranges (skin on and cut into quarters)

1 Lemon (skin on and cut into quarters)

1 Carrot

60 g Ginger (skin on)

20 g Fresh turmeric (skin on)

2 tbsp Honey

a pinch of Black pepper

200 ml Water

Recipe:

  1. Add all the ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth.
  2. Pour your mixture into ice cube trays and place in the freezer overnight.
  3. To serve, add a cube to a mug and pour boiling water over. Stir and drink. You can also add these to smoothies or let it defrost and pour over room temperature water for a wholesome drink.
