Kiwi Grilled Custard Toast
These yoghurt custard and fruit filled toasts are quick to make and so versatile. Use any fruits in your Oddbox such as kiwi, blueberries, grapes, raspberries or mango.
Substitutes:
- No kiwi? Use raspberries, blueberries, mango, strawberries or any other “soft” fruits instead.
- No honey? Use maple syrup or agave syrup instead.

Ingredients:
2 Kiwi
4 Slices of bread
1 Egg
3 tbsp Greek yoghurt
1 tbsp Honey
Recipe:
- Prepare the kiwis: Peel and slice the kiwis. Compost the peels.
- Prepare the bread: Using your fingers or the back of a spoon, press into the centre of the bread to indent and create a well without cutting through.
- Make custard mixture: In a small bowl, add yoghurt, egg and honey. Whisk together to form a liquid custard.
- Fill the bread slices: Spoon the custard mixture into the indented well and top with kiwi slices.
- Time to cook: Cook in the air fryer at 180C for 8-10 minutes, or in the hot oven for 12-15 minutes. Enjoy!
How to store
You can store the toasts in an airtight container, in the fridge for up to 2 days. However these are quick to make so for best flavour we recommend eating them straight out of the oven/airfryer!
