Cook time: 30 minutes

Total time: 35 minutes

Servings: 2

Ingredients:

300 g Brussels sprouts

4 tbsp Olive oil

2 tbsp Clear honey

½ tsp Chilli flakes (or to taste)

½ tsp Flaky sea salt

½ tsp Garlic powder (optional)

Recipe:

  1. Preheat the oven to 190C/170c fan/5 gas mark. Cut the brussels sprouts in half and place into a bowl. Set aside.
  2. In another bowl, combine the olive oil, honey, chilli flakes, salt and garlic powder.
  3. Pour the hot honey sauce over the brussels sprouts and mix well to coat.
  4. Add the coated brussels sprouts to a baking tray, making sure to spread them evenly so that they dont touch each other. This will prevent steam, and allow them to crisp better in the oven.
  5. Roast for 30 minutes, or until caramelised, golden and lightly crispy. Enjoy!
